About Campaign

ends 30 Apr 2022, 11:59 PM
In an emergency, every second counts! Making quick and precise assessments, bringing people back from the brink of death, juggling different cases of varying severities, and looking beyond to create holistic care are just some of the functions of our Emergency Medicine doctors and nurses.

As a major health service provider, SingHealth Emergency Departments are responsible for almost half of the nation's healthcare needs.
Every day, the four Singhealth Emergency Departments attend to an average of over 1000 patients requiring emergency care. Given the rise of chronic diseases, Singapore's greying population, the changing nature of injuries and major trauma cases as well as the uncertainty of emerging infections, the Emergency Departments (EDs) will inevitably see a steady increase in patients who require tailored and specialised treatment.

Your gift will be used to:
Accelerate research and make ground-breaking discoveries to tackle time-sensitive emergency conditions
Enable both academic and clinical champions to lead the development of frameworks in the (1) identification of medical needs, (2) research into new models of care (3) provide enabling age-friendly clinical environment
Develop cutting-edge innovations and techniques enabling Emergency Medicine to be future-ready
Enhance risk stratification and care for elderly patients presenting with high-acuity and high complexity conditions
