For the period of this #smallwaysC42 fundraising campaign, I'll be holding several Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) activities to help individuals to reflect and set personal goals.

#1 NLP Coaching Sessions (60-90min)
From 15 Jan - 31 Mar 2021, I will provide NLP coaching sessions to individuals who are looking for a breakthrough in their personal, professional, or artistic goals.

#2: Zoom Webinar 'Communicate Differently' (23 Mar 2021, 8pm)
It's time to communicate differently, isn't it? This webinar is part of a three-session series of leading and influencing with the Meta Model. The Meta Model is a set of questions you can use to challenge someone's understanding of the world in a respectful and powerful way. Darryl Lim is the artistic director of Split Theatre and he is a certified NLP trainer and coach at You Matter who specialises in helping youths and young adults.

Centre 42 has been a place of growth for Darryl as an artist and has provided him (and Split Theatre) the room and space to work and develop as young theatre practitioners.

About the Charity

Centre 42 is small - small team, small spaces, small works. But if 2020 has shown us anything, it's that the smallest things can have the largest impact. From a small blue house on Waterloo Street, we have grown to be home to more than 170 artists and theatre collectives, supported the development of over 200 new theatrical projects, and brought theatre magic to more than 40,000 audiences.

This year, we returned 42 Waterloo Street, our home since 2014. We've not only lost spaces for our artists and programmes, but also an important source of rental income. With the arts sector adversely affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, many arts-workers and companies are trying our best to survive financially. We hope to continue in the small ways we can, to offer avenues of creation, documentation and training workshops and presentations that will sustain the livelihoods and spirits of our art-making community.

Centre 42 is a non-profit theatre development space committed to the creation, documentation and promotion of text-based works for the Singapore stage. Our mission is to:
- nurture talent and incubate content of text-based works for the stage;
- build public awareness and appreciation for Singapore theatre; and
- be a focal point for research, documentation and critical discourse on the development of Singapore theatre.
