About Campaign
ends 29 Oct 2021, 11:59 PMRescuing an animal is not the end of the road, it is the very first step. The work of treating the animals' illness and rehabilitating them to fit into a home environment can take months and sometimes years. Through the process, the animals will need food and medical support.
Our new facility allows us to continue actively with our Stray Management Scheme which is in line with the nationwide TNRM programme. We hope to continue to have the means to gradually take dogs off the streets and place them in loving homes to call their own in due time. With more funds, we will also be able to feed more hungry animals and medicate more ill and injured street or shelter animals in need.
About the Charity
Causes for Animals (Singapore) Limited (CAS) is an animal welfare charity set up and registered in 2013 to support the needs of local animal welfare in Singapore. We place great emphasis on TNR (Trap Neuter Release) to ensure we effectively manage the street animal population.
Medical assistance is also provided to injured dogs and cats rescued off our streets by feeders, workers and rescuers. Shelter operational costs, veterinary services and medical supplies average $60,000 month. CAS relies mainly on public donations for funding.
