About Campaign

Cat Welfare Society's biggest impact to date is the reduction in the culling rate of cats in Singapore from over 10,000 annually a decade ago to under 800 in 2017. Since 1999, we have helped sterilise over 34,000 cats in Singapore.

Demand for sterilisation continues to grow, we hit a new record in 2018 with 6000 cats sterilised but the donations we received is falling well short of the funding needed to sustain vital operations. Many cats and the community feeders need our help for sterilisation efforts.

We urgently need to raise $135000 to help fund our sterilisation effort in the next 6 months. Support our sterilisation programme which allows us to advocate the harmonious co-existence of cats within our community and keep our community cats safe!

About the Charity

Cat Welfare Society is a charity that advocates the harmonious co-existence of humans and cats. We are at the forefront of humane management of the community cat population and educating the importance of responsible cat ownership. For years, we have campaigned against the destruction of cats by offering a more effective and long term solution - education and sterilisation. As a charity, we function as a network of dedicated volunteers that work towards the same goal - saving lives everyday. We are run by volunteers and much of our achievements are the work of our network of selfless caregivers undertake rescue, foster and re-homing programmes to save cats. We are not funded by the government. We are a registered charity with IPC status that is audited annually and we publish our financial reports on our website.
