Much Needed Veterinary Care for Homeless Cats
About Campaignends 16 Apr 2017, 12 AM
When homeless cats get sick or injured, they can only rely on the kindness of the people around them who can give of their time and resources to help this most vulnerable in our midst. A special few answer this call. The rest of us can help by sharing the high costs of veterinary care with them.
Your donation is a lifeline to those who remain on the frontline when rescue cases hit and they are the only ones who choose not to walk away. Your donation gives them hope and peace of mind even as they juggle their own lives to help these homeless cats.
WE ARE AIMING TO RAISE $50,000 to help the 200 caregivers who have already given of themselves to help cats in need. Their individual rescue cases and veterinary bills can be viewed at www.catwelfare.org/specialappeals. Helping them makes it possible for them to continue to help more cats in need.
A humane nation is one where there is compassion for even the most invisible and most vulnerable. We can all play a part in that. Donate today.
Cat Welfare Society is a charity that advocates the harmonious co-existence of humans and cats. We are at the forefront of humane management of the community cat population and educating the importance of responsible cat ownership. For years, we have campaigned against the destruction of cats by offering a more effective and long term solution - education and sterilisation. As a charity, we function as a network of dedicated volunteers that work towards the same goal - saving lives everyday. We are run by volunteers and much of our achievements are the work of our network of selfless caregivers undertake rescue, foster and re-homing programmes to save cats. We are not funded by the government. We are a registered charity with IPC status that is audited annually and we publish our financial reports on our website.
