About the Charity
CFL started in April 2020, and was spearheaded by esteemed members like Mr Hsieh Fu Hua and Mr Keith Chua. More information on our board is available on our website (https://caringforlifesg.org/board/). Dr Alex Su, Vice Chairman of IMH, is our advisor in our strategic development and curriculum content. Since its inception, CFL continues work with the community free-of-charge and empower the participants to be our community carer with essential suicide prevention resources and tools, including implementing the LIFE model and raising awareness of HELP signals. Caring for Life has been in close partnership with various grassroots and governmental bodies to ensure our work is constantly relevant and contributing significantly to a comprehensive suicide prevention landscape here in Singapore. Thus far, we have equipped more than 1400 participants from all walks of lives. I am proud to report 99.6% of participants reported higher confidence in supporting another individual who is having suicidal ideation.
