About Campaign

At some stage of our lives, we inevitably turn caregivers to our elderly parents or relatives. Caregivers' needs are often overlooked, and they need care too, after all, who cared for those who care?
It is with this support in mind that the Caregiving Welfare Association (CWA) decided to set up its first Caregivers' Sanctuary, a therapeutic haven for caregivers and their families seeking respite. Caregivers' Sanctuary is scheduled to be launched in 2017.
CWA is a Voluntary Welfare Organisation which provides health & wellness programmes and welfare support in ensuring the physical, mental and emotional well-being of elderly and their caregives' are being cared for.
How can you contribute?
We appeal to esteemed organisations and individuals to raise fund for the needy in running the Caregivers' Sanctuary programmes. These include:
1) Caregiver Support Group (weekly sessions)
Where caregivers come together to share and learn from one another, with therapeutic sessions run by allied professionals. $300 can benefit 10 needy caregivers through one session.
2) Counselling and Case Management
We provide supportive counselling and case management to caregivers and their family. $560 per month can help one needy client to receive free counselling/case management services.
3) Elderly Supplement Programme
For our needy caregivers, $1,200 per year can provide subsidised special medication and assistance for one elderly patient.

About the Charity

The Caregiving Welfare Association is a non-profit Voluntary Welfare Organisation depends mainly upon the community support and funding to fuel our efforts to provide timely assistance to the elderly and their caregivers.

We have expanded our scope and emphasis on direct eldercare services to help seniors aged better, while continuing to focus on supporting caregivers in an increasingly ageing population. We now channel more effort in helping elders to lead meaningful and quality lives through our services.

Your donation and support will help to fund the following core services, which include our new initiative - The 'MindAble Programme' for elderly facing mild dementia and those who are at risk.

Our Core Services:
1)Senior wellness and social support
2)Welfare support
3)Education and Awareness

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
