About Campaignends 30 Jun 2021, 11:59 PM
Leveraging on this campaign, we hope to raise greater awareness about mental health and CAL's role in helping and supporting caregivers of persons with mental health issues and to mobilise more donors and supporters for our cause. Champions who are keen advocates for mental wellness and caregiving will be participating in this campaign.
You Donate $100, Champions Walk 1 km
Based on the idea of "You Donate, We Walk", every $100 raised will amount to 1 km in walking distance. As a donor, you are encouraged to channel your donation to any of the Mental Wellness Champions from the Individual or Group category, and your selected Champion will clock the distance that matches the donation amount that you donated. All donations $50 and above will qualify for 250% tax-deductions.

About the Charity
Caregivers Alliance Limited (CAL) is a professional non-profit organisation in Singapore dedicated to meeting the needs of caregivers of persons with mental health issues and dementia through education, support networks, crisis support, tailored services and self-care enablement. While there are other organisations providing support to the community affected by mental health issues, only CAL focuses exclusively on supporting caregivers with professional services.
CAL was incorporated on 25 October 2011. Our founding members are Singapore Anglican Community Services, Caregivers' Association of the Mentally Ill and BinjaiTree Limited.
CAL is an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC), which reflects that it is exclusively non-profit in nature. In 2019, CAL won the Charity Governance Award 2019 (medium charities category), awarded by the Charity Council in recognition of it having adopted the highest standards of governance, in line with the Code of Governance for Charities & IPCs.
