How Your Donation Makes a Difference
I have been wearing these two pairs of sock for a year now as my parents could not afford. There are holes on them. Thank you. I am not embarrassed now when I have to take off my shoes::))
My school bag is tearing apart and it does not smell good even after I tried washing it a few times. Thank you. I love the new school bag and it put a smile in my heart:)=)
My shoes have small tears as they were from my older siblings. I have no shoes to go out and play, other than my school shoes. Thank you. Yes! Finally I have my first brand new pair of shoes:)
I do not know what proper breakfast was after I came into the Breakfast Programme. Thank you. I have my daily milk and sandwiches to start the day and I can focus on my studies!
About Campaignends 31 Jul 2019, 11:59 PM
These real situations affect our children emotionally. Carrying such burdens at their age often becomes overwhelming when their home circumstances can sometimes be challenging and complicated. They lack opportunities to nurture and fulfill their God-given potential nor do they have resources for things that peers their age have and take for granted - from basic life necessities like school bags and a proper breakfast, to enrichment classes, outings and proper family time.
This Mother's Day and Father's Day, instead of a physical gift, give a GIFT OF LOVE to the children at Canossaville on behalf of your parents.
This will enable them with opportunities to explore their world, play, learn and grow together. Your gift will create an impact on their lives.

About the Charity
Canossaville Children and Community Services (Canossaville) runs an inclusive Student Care Centre in the Aljunied-MacPherson area. Our programmes cater to both mainstream children, as well as those with mild-to-moderate additional needs, giving priority to the poorest of the poor living in the lower income neighbourhoods. We are open to all faiths and races. Aged between seven to twelve years old, our children are taught values and skills to prepare them for life. Under our "Formation of the Heart" programme, they are nurtured to be persons of integrity, committed to God and caring for others. Within a safe and value rich environment, every child is empowered to develop their God-given talents to the fullest. We also have a Child Development Unit set up this year, with a team of specialists comprising Social Workers, an Educational Psychologist, a Speech Language Therapist, and an Occupational Therapist to support children with additional needs. Founded by the Canossian Sisters in 1941, Canossaville is supported by the Ministry of Social and Family Development, National Council of Social Service and the Early Childhood Development Agency. It is also an approved Institute of Public Character and is authorized to receive tax-deductible donations.
