Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Sep 2021, 11:59 PM

As you may know, I'm a cancer survivor and I'm lucky enough to have fought through treatment and live to tell the tale. It's honestly not something I'd wish for anyone to go through, especially not the kids.

Between 2016 to 2020, an average of 153 children are diagnosed each year and the largest age group? 0-4 years of age. Personally, and I believe for many of you, this is the golden childhood period of learning, exploration and growth. But for these kids and their families, it's pain, tears, heartache and anxiety.

An immense amount of resources will be required for all forms of support. You name it, we'll need it. Time. Finances. Emotional and mental support.

Things really get way tough if money is a problem. Truthfully, the stress and anxiety on the parents is unimaginable... Juggling between a child who is fighting to survive, other kids, a job, aging parents and a plethora of middle-aged adult stuffs, it is certainly no walk in the park.

Our country is prosperous but many still fall through the cracks. Not forgetting that cancer treatment is certainly not a $2 pack of chicken rice yea.

And so, my awesome husband Wei Hao and I, humbly invite you to join me in this fundraiser for them precious little ones. We are unable to have any of our own but together, we can positively impact these young warriors!

P/S. September is the month for both Childhood Cancer Awareness and Leukaemia, the most common childhood cancer.

Lots of love and Gratitude,
Andrea &Wei Hao
