Our Campaign Story

ends 04 Jul 2022, 11:59 PM

Hi everyone! We are Team Edutomahawk, a 2021 YMCA YFC (Youth For Causes) team. This year, we are raising funds for YMCA to support YMCA youth with special needs, youth at-risk and low-income families.

Since the creation of Edutomahawk in 2013 by the first batch of youths from ITE College West, the team constantly believes that like the American Tomahawk Missile, we will continue to strive for excellence.

Our team aims to raise awareness for the youth with special needs and youth at-risk under YMCA's care and raise $15,000 through this campaign. The fund will greatly help YMCA to sustain their existing programmes and innovate meaningful initiatives to strengthen youth.

On behalf of the Youth and Families at YMCA, we would like to THANK YOU for your support, generosity and love. Every donation counts. You can make an impact on their lives!

All proceeds will go to the YMCA Community Services Fund (CSF).

About The Charity

*COVID-19 Update: Due to COVID-19, many vulnerable communities face new challenges. Fundraising has also become exceptionally difficult. We would like to make an appeal to all to join us in our efforts in reaching out during these tough times. Your donation will fund new initiatives and existing programmes that support these communities. Please read "Our Programmes" for more information on these programmes.

The YMCA of Singapore stands to champion, challenge and train youth to stand up and be counted as independent and effective contributors to an inclusive society.

Our "YMCA Strong" campaign is a statement of our desired outcome for all we serve - to give our clients a hand up, not simply a handout, so that each one will be strengthened to reach their potential.

Our programmes range from training and employing youth with special needs to mobilising and training youth leaders and volunteers to serve the needy in society.
