Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Oct 2022, 11:59 PM

Over the pandemic, I wrote a book chronicling my journey Living Life as a Warrior, Woman and Mum-Wo(Mum). Covid-19 has impacted many facets of society; not all of us suffer equally. And the gap between the haves and have-nots is widening, which is why I hope to provide a pathway for others to rise up and to help our youth.
I have chosen to partner with Halogen Foundation #JustOneThing as their initiative-to inspire and influence a generation of young people to lead themselves and others well-resonates with me. Halogen tackles this by providing all youth with equal opportunity, uplifting those from the fringes of society through their proven leadership and entrepreneurship programmes.

Donate a minimum of SGD50.00 and receive a complimentary physical copy of Wo(Mum). With your generous donations, our youths will be more empowered and well-equipped to excel in life.

Sharon Wong has built a chain of successful mother and baby stores in Singapore and China, is a loving wife and mother to three grown-up children and mentors budding female entrepreneurs. In this memoir, Wo(Mum) traces Sharon's early days growing up in Ipoh, how her role in an MNC sparked the idea for Motherswork (which forever changed the way mothers shop for baby products) and the meteoric rise of her company.

About The Charity

Founded in 2003, Halogen Foundation (Singapore) is an Institution of Public Character (IPC) charity focusing on building young leaders and entrepreneurs. Defining leadership and entrepreneurship as influence, Halogen Foundation believes that every young person has innate potential to influence and lead, becoming positive change-agents. By developing an entrepreneurial mindset, youths can be further equipped to contribute positively to society.

Halogen Foundation aims to make quality leadership and entrepreneurship education available to all young people regardless of background, race, income, or religion, particularly those who are disadvantaged - coming from challenging family backgrounds and/or are in need of financial assistance.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
