Our Campaign Story
ends 11 Mar 2022, 11:59 PMWomen in Reinsurance (WiRE) is raising funds for Daughters of Tomorrow, an IPC Charity empowering economically challenged women into sustained employment, thus enabling their families towards social mobility.
The funds will be channeled towards advancing the IT skills and knowledge of these resilient and determined women.
As much as the re/insurance industry embraces technology, WiRE believes that gaining digital skills will have lasting tangible impact on these women's employability and their families' livelihoods.
We kindly seek your generous contributions in conjunction with International Women's Day 2022.
About Campaign
In Singapore today, it is extremely difficult to get by without a firm grasp of technology. And while people who are already working are getting more and more advanced in their IT skills and knowledge as a natural progression of being a part of a Smart Nation, people who are IT illiterate are literally being left behind in a time when something as basic as a job search nowadays requires the use of technology.
With this fund we hope to be able to increase our support to empower more women towards IT literacy and eventually financial independence and upward social mobility.
