The happiest kid that I have ever met is my neighbour's son. His smiles are
contagious and his heart is pure gold. He has Down syndrome but he is not
down, it only means that he helps people who are feeling down. He always
lifts my spirits when I speak with him. Let us all support him and all
persons with Down syndrome in any way that we can!
About The Charity
Down Syndrome Association (Singapore) is a self-funded, non-profit Voluntary Welfare Organisation. We are dependent on donations from the corporate community and members of the public to help us continue to improve the lives of persons with Down syndrome. We provide a range of programmes for babies, children and adults with Down syndrome. These range from educational programmes that impart life-skills and independence training to young adults with Down syndrome, integration support programmes for children with Down syndrome studying in mainstream schools, enrichment programmes such as dance, speech & drama and sports programmes that aim to enhance and develop specific skills in the participants. We also conduct family support group programmes for parents (with babies, children and mature adults). We thank you for your support of DSA in our efforts to educate, train and assist people with Down syndrome to become independent and contributing citizens of Singapore.
*All outright donations will be entitled to a tax deduction of 2.5 times the amount of donation. A Tax Deductible Receipt will be issued for donations above $50.
