Our Campaign Storyends 22 Nov 2020, 11:59 PM
Verz Design Singapore aims to raise SGD10,000 (including matching of donations up to SGD5,000) for The Courage Fund.
Verz Design believes in the importance of giving back to society. In an industry that has been fortunate to continue operations during the pandemic, it is our responsibility to play our part in helping the less fortunate and those in need. We also encourage others who can help, to help. By making a Dollar-To-Dollar pledge (maximum amount of $5000) to match the donations others make, we hope to raise over $10,000 for this campaign.
As part of our efforts to fundraise and bring awareness to this campaign, we have challenged all Verz employees in Singapore to walk 10 000 steps daily for a consecutive period of 20 days and share their efforts on social media to bring greater publicity to this campaign. Verz Design is where it is today because of the support that we were given. We are committed to paying it forward by supporting others who may need a helping hand.
The evolving COVID-19 situation has affected Singaporeans in one way or another, including individuals who are facing loss of income or families that are struggling with additional caregiving duties and additional expenses for essential items.
The Courage Fund was first established in 2003 when Singapore was hit by the SARS outbreak. Fellow Singaporeans donated generously to the Fund to support those who were affected by the outbreak. In this same spirit of uniting the community to support one another through difficult times, Community Chest is rallying the community to provide relief and support to those affected by the current COVID-19 situation.
Where Will Your Donations Go?
Donations will go towards supporting and providing relief to vulnerable individuals and families, including healthcare workers, frontline workers and volunteers, affected by the COVID-19 situation.
