Our Campaign Story

ends 21 Jan 2018, 11:59 PM

We are a planning team of 34 Nanyang Polytechnic Students from the Diploma in Social Sciences (Social Work) and we have come up with a three part project, in collaboration with Clarity Singapore, comprising of a drama production, experiential learning booths and a psychoeducational exhibition.
The team has chosen to explore the mental illnesses that are common among youths in Singapore, such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Anxiety Disorders and Obsessive Compulsive Disorders.

Our drama production showcases polytechnic students living with mental health conditions and how the environment and people around them affect them differently.
Our experiential learning booths allow the audience to experience living in the shoes of someone with a mental health condition.
The psychoeducational exhibition provides information of the common mental health conditions among youths. It also contains information on ways to support someone going through the mental illnesses and helps to break some misconceptions that are commonly held.
The objective of our project is to raise awareness about mental illnesses among youths in Singapore and to promote self-care. To achieve this objective, we need your help!

Every dollar you donate will go to Clarity Singapore to support this collaboration. If there are any remaining funds, Clarity Singapore will use it to help clients with mental health conditions. This project will not take flight without you! So any amount of money will be appreciated!
