About Campaign
(Note: Donations to overseas efforts are not tax-deductible. Receipts will only be issued upon request.)
This is a fundraising appeal by the Singapore Red Cross (SRC) for the Humanitarian Crisis in Ukraine.
Your donation will provide immediate aid for the vulnerable -- unaccompanied minors, women with children, elderly & people with disabilities; support their basic needs like shelter, food/water, & psychosocial support.
In response to the fast-growing refugee crisis, SRC has contributed $2.5 million in humanitarian aid to Ukraine and 6 neighbouring countries - Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Slovakia, Moldova and Romania.
SRC Secretary General/CEO Benjamin William: "The combination of an active and bloody conflict, extreme cold weather and Covid-19 means that for the people in the conflict regions and those who have been displaced from their homes, the days ahead will be a struggle for survival. The humanitarian needs on the ground will continue to rise as the conflict intensifies. Our team has been working closely with the Ukrainian Red Cross, the IFRC, the ICRC, and other National Societies to ensure the most appropriate and timely response."
The humanitarian needs are massive & the operations are complex, with the ongoing conflict & border crisis hurting innocent civilians. We call for your support to this critical humanitarian operation.
