Truly an answer to Covid-ean times, Kitchen Movement is proud to announce the Twenty4Challenge. Shining the 'virtual' spotlight on passionate homecooks, this challenge is a Cook, Commune and Charity with us virtually.
The Mission for home cooks:
1. Cook a dish to feed 4 people for $20.00 or less. get the family/kids involved you feel the urge.
2. Submit a video or photos of you cooking the dish to be broadcast weekly on social media for voting by family/friends/public (ie you) - between 2 - 4 cooks per week.
3. Voting is open for 24 hours, in which time voters can test the recipes at home or simply trust their eyes. One winner every week.
4. The home cook who gets the most number of votes AND the most amount of money donated to DOT during their session will stand to win a sumptuous meal at the end of the series (6 weeks).
At the heart of all this is the charity element. Kitchen Movement Events usually have ticket sales and proceeds from auctions and beverage sales are contributed to Daughters Of Tomorrow (DOT). We know its been a tough few months for everyone, particularly the beneficiaries at DOT.
SO - support your favourite home cook, by voting for their video and contributing towards DOT. The more the merrier!
