Our Campaign Story
ends 31 Dec 2018, 11:59 PMHalf a century. Mid life. Turning 50 is a milestone often filled with parties, holidays and gifts. But as I was asked what I wanted for my 50th birthday, I found myself thinking more and more about how to make it meaningful.
So here's what I've decided to do. In gratitude for 50 years of blessings from God, family and friends, I'd like to try and pay it forward.
I hope you will join me to raise awareness about mental health, and to support organisations that help those with mental health issues, as well as their families and caregivers.
I aim to raise at least $5000 for Clarity Singapore.
Clarity is a relatively new and small organisation but it already provides services to persons with mental health issues live meaningful lives through support, therapy, acceptance and recovery. They help anyone struggling with mental health conditions arising from anxiety and depression including trauma, pre and post-natal, stress, bereavement and loss, relationship and other emotional issues.
I have personally seen the toll that mental illness can take on loved ones and their caregivers. Too often it is seen as taboo and treatment is not sought, impacting many lives.
Please join me in working towards removing the stigma of mental illness and donating generously to Clarity to support their growth and their work.
Thank you and God bless you.
