Our Campaign Story

I'm turning 25. The world is beautiful and frightful and I am nowhere nearer to making sense of it. Things are falling apart in Silicon Valley and Ukraine and Turkey, all in different ways. I try to focus on challenges my body can understand; small differences within my power to make: one is through physical training. Another is this fundraiser.

(In less esoteric terms: The earthquake that hit Turkey and Syria this year killed an estimated 50,000 people and the cost of damage is estimated to be as high as $100 billion.

I'm doing a triathlon on 16 April. I'm also raising funds for disaster relief in Turkey. Please donate!)

The Singapore Red Cross (SRC) is a homegrown humanitarian organisation dedicated to relieve human suffering, protect lives and dignity and respond to emergencies since 1949. Our blood donor mobilisation programme, home for the disabled, transport aid, food aid, community led action for resilience, community first aid and training derive from our mission to serve the vulnerable.
