Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Jun 2020, 11:59 PM

These days, everyone is staying at home, waiting for the day when we can confidently step out of our homes. Performers and artists too, have their schedules disturbed, and are uncertain in this period. They have put on great shows for us, and now is a great time to help them. There is a hidden potential in each and everyone of us. Turn adversity into strength, and transform it into a power. A power that can help your loved ones, the performers, as well as the community by contributing to our fundraiser for Esplanade. Your donation will play a great part in making all these possible.

We are a group of Year 3 students from Singapore Polytechnic who had a chance to enjoy the arts shared to us through Esplanade. From discovering local artists to gaining new experiences, Esplanade has always served as a platform for us to learn and appreciate the arts. As we recall this joy, we wish to bring it to everyone so that they can discover the power the arts hold too. The recent situation has affected many sectors, including said arts. We hope the funds that we raise will help Esplanade to continue bringing the joy of the arts to everyone during this period and beyond.

About The Charity

Esplanade is Singapore's national performing arts centre and a not-for-profit organisation with a social mission.

We believe that the arts can transform lives through its ability to uplift spirits, provide inspiration, foster bonds and cultivate understanding. The arts can bring individuals and communities closer together and it is our vision to be a performing arts centre for everyone.

Esplanade operated by The Esplanade Co Ltd (TECL), which is a not-for-profit organisation, a registered Charity and an Institution of a Public Character. The Charity Council awarded TECL the Charity Governance Award (Special Commendation for Clarity of Strategy) in 2016, and the Charity Transparency Award for four consecutive years since 2016.
