Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Mar 2019, 11:59 PM

Tohli is a friendly, sweet and happy 10 year old dog who doesn't look her age. She was found chained outside an apartment and not allowed in when she turned 8 years old 2 years ago. After failed negotiations for Tohli to stay in the house, a neighbour took her home to foster while approaching us for help to rehome her

Tohli was found to have cushing's disease that causes her frequent urination, and needs regular medication. We wonder if this is the reason she wasn't allowed in her previous home. Also, her allergies have been severe and unknown, causing her to scratch herself frequently. Nothing has seemed to help so far. She also has blood in her urine every now and then, and has been going to the vet for management. Her fosterer has been caring for her daily basic needs as best as she can to make sure Tohli is comfortable despite her medical conditions

Even with all these health issues, Tohli is not letting any health problems get in her way. Instead, she shows her best side and spares all the love she could give, to her caregiver.

A few months back, a lump developed on her belly, and after successful removal she went home. However, last month, another lump formed and the vet has suggested removal again
We fear the worse that it is cancer due to the reoccurrence and rapid growth of the lump

The surgery and treatment will cost $2,800 and we appeal for help to treat and improve Tohli's quality of life. To give her a chance to live out her days with her foster family
