Our Campaign Storyends 10 Oct 2021, 11:59 PM
To Adscendo, A Journey To The Heart is a fundraising campaign set up by us, a group of 4 students from Temasek Junior College in support of Singapore Association for Mental Health, SAMH for YMCA Youth For Causes 2021. Team Adscendo hopes to raise funds for SAMH to support people in their rehabilitation and recovery programmes.
Ever heard people around you saying I'm depressed or You're autistic? It is common for people to misuse terms like that without knowing how those suffering from these types of mental illnesses may actually feel. For this reason, we set up this campaign to not only raise funds but to also raise awareness to let people know that they're not suffering alone, that we have their backs.
YOU can help them smile again.
Your indispensable donation would aid our beneficiaries in their recovery journey. It would also fund SAMH in raising awareness and overcoming the stigma of mental illness through professional talks and programmes conducted for the public.
About The Charity
Your donation matters.
Your invaluable donation can empower and help our beneficiaries in their journey to recovery and mental wellness. With your kind support, we can continue to provide rehabilitative, outreach, and creative services and programmes to persons with mental health issues, and help them recover and reintegrate back into the community.
Your generous gift also counts in funding our efforts to raise public awareness about mental well-being and resilience, as well as reduce the social stigma, and promote acceptance and respect for persons with mental health issues.
Established in 1968, the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is a non-profit and non-government social service organization, a registered charity under the Charities Act and an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC). We have also been awarded the coveted Charity Transparency Award in 2018 & 2019 by the Charity Council.
