The Food Bank has been impacted by the cancellation of volunteer involvement and group distribution activities, due to COVID-19 Phase 2 Heightened Alert.
Anglo American's Sustainability Committee (Singapore) is looking to raise funds for emergency rations to support a surge in number of beneficiaries from the young to the elderly who require food support during this challenging period.
Your donations will help ensure continuity of Food Bundles and Cooked Meals, directly delivered to needy households and individuals, in Singapore.
With the current COVID-19 Phase 2 Heightened Alert situation, our operations have been affected with minimal volunteer involvement and group distribution activities.
Additionally, the closure of F&B establishments for dine-in and schools turning to home-based learning, we are expecting beneficiaries from the young to the elderly who will require food support.
As such, we need your support as The Food Bank Singapore gears up to extend emergency food aid to those in need.
We are targeting to deliver 10,000 food bundles!
Pledge a food bundle today to ensure we can continue to provide to households and individuals.
Your generosity and social consciousness will help put food on the table and ease the food insecurity fears of those in need!
About The Charity

Driven by its mission to eradicate food insecurity of all forms in Singapore by 2025, the registered charity bridges potential donors and member beneficiaries by collecting and redistributing donated food. Its members are registered charity organisations or special organisations with a designated meal programme for low income and underprivileged individuals and families. Through a network of more than 300 such organisations of all sizes, the food bank serves more than 100,000 families and over 300,000 people with all kinds of food: from fresh to cooked.
