Our Campaign Storyends 15 Aug 2022, 11:59 PM
As part of the National University of Singapore Student Union's (NUSSU's) annual Rag and Flag event, Tembusu Flag aims to raise awareness of societal issues by actively engaging and empowering the Tembusu Residential College community, the NUS community and everyone outside of the NUS community to participate in acts of kindness and give back to society.
This year, we are working with the Foundation of Rotary Clubs (Singapore) (FRCS) to support humanitarian and education projects locally.
Launched in Q3 of 2021, FRCS's new Eldercare and Caregivers Centre (ECC) aims to serve up to 2,500 seniors and residents in the Bukit Batok area by providing a physical space for the elderly and caregivers of Bukit Batok to gather, socialise, and receive social support services.
Proceeds from Tembusu Flag 2022 will help to fund operation expenditures of FRCS ECC, and to provide support for the older generations through their golden years.
