Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM

Team Cosmos is taking part in the 2021 YMCA YFC programme. We are a team of year 4 students from Temasek Junior College that are working with Canossaville Children and Community Services.

Our team believes that every child should have the opportunity to embark on a journey to discover the vast universe we are living in. Similar to the resilience and the strong will of cosmos plants, we wish to inspire the children and have them know, however life chooses to treat you, whatever challenge is thrown at you, one has to persevere through these adversities to reach the stars.

Team Cosmos aims to raise awareness about children from different family backgrounds and inspire children to look past their differing circumstances and explore the endless opportunities that await them.

Funds raised from this campaign will support the children at Canossaville to fund their various activities and programmes to support the children and their families!

About The Charity

Canossaville Children and Community Services (Canossaville) runs Canossaville Preschool, Canossaville Student Care and Canossian Child Development Unit in the Aljunied-MacPherson area.

Our programmes cater to both mainstream students, as well as those with hearing loss, giving priority to the poorest living in the lower income neighbourhoods. We are open to all faiths and races and every child is empowered to develop their God-given talents to the fullest.

Founded by the Canossian Sisters in 1941, Canossaville operates under the guidance of the Canossian Daughters of Charity. We are licensed by the Ministry of Social and Family Development (MSF) and Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA). Canossaville is also an approved Institution of a Public Character (IPC) and is authorised to receive tax-deductible donations.
