Raise charity funds to help the needy patients.
With the support from the Singapore Dragon Boat Association (SDBA), KDF is organising the inaugural KDF Charity Dragon Boat Challenge on 8th October 2017, Sunday at the Kallang Riverside Park (Stadium Road-Nursery Beach).
We hope to invite 300 dragon boat enthusiasts to take part in this event under two categories: Corporate Mixed Category and Club-Crew Mixed Category.
Through the event, we aim to raise $150,000 for the needy patients at KDF to help subsidise their dialysis treatments, medication and laboratory tests.
In our upstream preventive efforts to increase public awareness about kidney-related diseases, we will be offering complimentary health talks to corporate donors.
Support our dragon boaters who are participating in the KDF Charity Dragon Boat Challenge 2017 today. All donations are entitled to 2.5x tax deduction.

About The Charity
The Kidney Dialysis Foundation (KDF) is an independent non-profit organisation which provides subsidised dialysis treatment to needy members of the community.
We support those whose income falls into the lowest 10% income bracket in Singapore, ensuring that this vulnerable group of patients will not be deprived of treatment as a result of their financial situation.
We currently run three haemodialysis centres (at Bishan, Chinatown, Ghim Moh) and one peritoneal dialysis centre, serving about 340 patients annually. At least $4 million is needed yearly to continue KDF's life-saving mission.
All donations to KDF will be eligible for tax deduction as we are a IPC registered charity.
