Our Campaign Story

ends 13 Nov 2020, 11:59 PM

Help me in raising $10,000. I am hoping 200 friends of mine will donate $50 each (or more) simply in the comfort of your home on my GivingSg page!
Your donations will be credited directly into YMCA's account.
Your support will help greatly in sustaining our Community Service Programmes empowering persons with special needs through activities that aim to benefit body mind and spirit. Some of these activities include encouraging physical fitness regimes among our beneficiaries such Y Nature Walks that lead up to our overnight Y Camp Challenge Programme building confidence and a sense of independence among our beneficiaries. We are embarking on sports programmes for special needs persons activating a healthy lifestyle, encouraging friendships and developing skills in various sports. We also provide visual arts activities such as Y Arts and Y Dance that help them engage in mentally stimulating activities, putting their thoughts into creative action. I thank you very much in advance !

About The Charity

*COVID-19 Update: Due to COVID-19, many vulnerable communities face new challenges. Fundraising has also become exceptionally difficult. We would like to make an appeal to all to join us in our efforts in reaching out during these tough times. Your donation will fund new initiatives and existing programmes that support these communities. Please read "Our Programmes" for more information on these programmes.

The YMCA of Singapore stands to challenge, champion and train youth to stand up and be counted as independent and effective contributors to an inclusive society.

Our "YMCA Strong" campaign is a statement of our desired outcome for all we serve - to give our clients a hand up, not simply a handout, so that each one will be strengthened to reach their potential.

Our programmes range from training and employing special needs youth to mobilising and training youth leaders and volunteers to serve the needy in society.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
