for my 18th birthday, i'm starting this fundraiser to take my first steps toward definitive change for nature, a cause I'm passionate about.

there are many deserving charities, but a donation to my fundraiser for Conservation International would be the best gift i could ask for. CI is an international NGO working to empower societies to responsibly and sustainably care for nature; its mission is in line with part of my advocational campaign initiated in 2022 through instagram.com/tanminen.sg/.

climate change is real and its impacts are disastrous in scale and reach, including but not limited to rising sea levels and increased frequency and magnitude of extreme weather events. this global issue has escalated to critical levels; it won't be easily resolved.

CI strives for the protection of nature - forests, oceans - and supports sustainable development in the Americas, Asia-Pacific and Africa. all funds will go towards aiding CI's operations in conserving high-carbon regions and restoring forests by planting trees.

every donation, even as small as cents and dollars, can make a positive impact for our planet, which also benefits us and all other life forms. the ability to make a real difference and become a better steward of Earth as we were called to be (Genesis 2:15) can't be triumphed. any form of support you could provide would be immensely appreciated!
