Our Campaign Story

ends 07 Nov 2021, 11:59 PM

Hi, I am Dr Noel Yeo (more about me at www.linkedin.com/in/drnoelyeo).

I volunteer at Society for the Aged Sick (SAS), a charity running a 404-bed nursing home.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions, the fundraising activities of SAS have been severely impacted. Therefore, I am starting this campaign #TalkForFund, where I give medical talks for free to encourage organisers and attendees to donate to SAS.

Within the first quarter of 2021, I have done more than 30 public talks about Covid-19 and vaccines. Most talks were held virtually. Some of them were held physically at public spaces like coffee shops, food courts and void decks. I have not collected any speaker fees and will continue to speak for free this year.

I hope you will contribute to this cause generously. Help our elderly and sick beat Covid-19. Thank you very much!

About The Charity

Society for the Aged Sick (SAS) is a non-profit nursing home that provides long-term residential and respite care services for the elderly, especially the less-privileged.

With a team of committed healthcare professionals and caregivers, we believe in adding years of quality life to our residents through holistic caregiving.

Established in 1968 as a 16-bedded facility, we now have 404 beds in our current location.

We hope to create a home within a home environment where our residents can enjoy professional and individualized care. Every resident is treated with respect, and we affirm that our residents' dignity is at the core of our work.
