"For some unknown reason, I've decided to try and do some exercise on the 25th of Aug.
I've entered the Half Iron Man 70.3 in Bintan. This entails trying to swim 1.9Km in the sea, followed by 90km on the bike around a hilly course and finally for good measure run, jog, waddle, walk a half marathon (21.1km). All in all, I would like to do it in less than 6hr and 30min but will more likely be just under 7hours of nonstop pain.
As I'm sure most people would like to see me attempt and struggle through this so I thought I might as well use it as a chance to raise a little bit of money for a good cause.
The charity I've chosen is .... Save our Street Dogs.
While there has recently been slight progress in the area of animal welfare in Singapore, the culling of stray dogs is continuing at an alarming pace, mainly due to rapid urbanization. A group of volunteering stray lovers, feeders and rescuers from various walks of life have come together with the purpose of pursuing change for these innocent animals.
Your generosity will provide a better life for more than 500 dogs under our care.
So if you can donate any amount to would be highly appreciated and I'm sure I'll throw in some pictures of me in a super tight leotard for good measure.
