Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Dec 2021, 11:59 PM

During this COVID period, mental health has been a prevalent subject of awareness and discussion in society. Most of us are now more exposed to and more knowledgeable about the detrimental effects of living with mental challenges, as well as the urgent need for us as a community to help those with this condition.

However, little has been mentioned about the mental health needs of people with autism spectrum disorder. Individuals on the autism spectrum often have difficulties in social and emotional skills. They have unique needs and require specially tailored support so that they can rise to be productive contributors to society.

I hope this campaign will raise funds for the autistic, enabling them to receive the care that they need in the areas of mental health.

The Association is an independent charity that was formed in August 1992 by a group of parents. In January 1995, it was registered as a charitable organisation under the Charities Act, Singapore.
