Our Campaign Story
ends 10 Dec 2018, 11:59 PMWe are Team PSYCH, a group of six clinical psychologists (Adrian Toh, Brian Poh, Michelle Neo, Michelle Tan, Patrick Phor, and Vithiyah Muthukumar) who met at the NUS Clinical Psychology Masters program.
As mental health workers, we have witnessed how mental health and neurodevelopmental conditions bring about pain and suffering for our clients. While running a marathon can be a long and painful process, it is nothing compared to what our clients experience on a daily basis. Family, community and social support are vital for recovery and rehabilitation, yet these are often hampered by the presence of stigma within our society.
Every year, our team participate in the Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore (SCMS) to raise awareness for our cause. This December, we want to rally around our clients by running the race in a special t-shirt to promote our cause again.
None of us are professional runners, yet we are determined to put in our best and finish the race, to let our clients know that we will always be there for them.
Support us by donating generously to our beneficiary this year, AWWA.
You can also help us by spreading the word about this page, so that more people get to know about our cause. Thank you.
Our past records:
2015- S$1,905 raised for Silver Ribbon
2016- S$1,470 raised for Club HEAL
2017- S$2,900 raised for SAMH
(This campaign is entirely initiated in our personal capacities, and is in no way representative of our employers.)
