Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Oct 2020, 11:59 PM

Beneficiaries of Children's Wishing Well are children from low-income families and disadvantaged backgrounds. Their parents could be unemployed, ill, have abandoned them, or are incarcerated in jail. We serve the needs of more than 1,000 children and youth each year across all our programmes. They are aged 7 to 12 and currently attending Primary Schools in Singapore.

Money raised will go straight to the Hot Lunch programme (provision of nutritious takeaway cooked food on weekdays and bento set delivery on weekends for children of low-income families, and any walk-in child who is hungry and has no food to eat at home)

Our goal of $2,250 will only feed 15 children for one month.

We have an online charity lucky draw on 31 October. As long as you donate $50 or more, you have one chance at the lucky draw.

Prizes include the following:
-one $500 Scoot voucher that has a year's validity
- three Lion Corp. gift sets worth $80 each.
- a pair of tickets to Singapore Repertory Theatre's latest production Tuesdays with Morrie
- 15 ten-dollar store credit for online Chinese bookstore Under the Moonlight.

About The Charity

Children's Wishing Well is a non-profit organisation and registered charity which was founded in 2002. We provide a broad range of services for children and youth from low-income families nationwide. Our services support their current educational and daily living needs, and equip them with skills for their future, so as to build a strong foundation for them to contribute as useful members of society.

Cash donations above $50 are eligible for 250% tax deduction, if full name and NRIC/FIN/UEN number are provided. We will auto-file the tax deduction with Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore (IRAS) only if you provide your full name and NRIC/FIN number. We regret that we would not be able to process the IRAS auto-filing if you do not provide complete and accurate information. Please write to [email protected] if you wish to receive tax deduction receipt via email.
