Aiding Needy Patients - In memory of Stevens Verghese

Our Campaign Storyends 31 Dec 2016, 12 AM
My father, Stevens Verghese, battled with Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) for 4 years before passing away 27th February, 2014. My dad was under the care of National Neuroscience Institute (TTSH campus), who gave him the best help they could - from the best doctors and nurses to social support.
It has been 2 years since he has passed on and, I'd like to continue to support NNI - especially their needy patients.
Neurological diseases lead to debilitating circumstances and symptom management (ALS/Motor Neuron Disease has no cure) can take a toll on a family's finances when you total up medication and equipment needed as the disease progresses. Our family is thankful for the help we received from NNI and we want to be able to repay the kindness shown by the community of family and friends that banded together to help us, by passing it on and spreading the love to those in need.
When you donate to NNI, Health Endowment Fund you'll be aiding with the needs of needy patients, which include amongst many things: assisting with their hospital bills, medication and other equipment to help with their mobility.
Your contribution will go a long way to helping a family in need.
