My aunt died of breast cancer when she was my age.
A dear friend of mine was also recently diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer but because of an early diagnosis, it's all turned out well now. She is only 33.
Breast cancer is a disease that is absolutely preventive and I want every woman, every mom, every husband, every boyfriend, every friend (everyone for that matter) to appreciate it.
Please support me in raising awareness.
Breast Cancer Foundation (BCF) is a non-profit organisation with the mission to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.
Set up in 1997, BCF is committed to raising awareness about breast cancer through talks, events and publications that advocate early detection through regular screening. BCF also supports survivors and their families through various counselling and training activities.
One of the few advocacy groups in the world with a Men's Support League, BCF aims to encourage greater male participation in society's fight against this affliction.
As an Institution of a Public Character (IPC), BCF promotes its cause to the community with generous support from corporations, institutions, schools and the community.
