Our Campaign Story

ends 31 Mar 2023, 11:59 PM

City Sprouts is a social enterprise that aims to inspire and rejuvenate urban communities through sprouting green spaces and programs. A year ago, we partnered with Rainbow Centre's Watch Out, World! (WOW!) programme, which opened our minds to the possibilities of educating youths with disabilities.

Take 14-year-old Javier for example, who uses a head-mouse and finger switch to control his iPad, and created Astronomy videos with his mentor Jerome. And 16-year-old Harshini, another WOW! Champion who coded a series of Unpredictable Stories with her mentor Wong Lei.

It has been our privilege to be part of the WOW! programme and we want to continue to enable young persons with disabilities. Your financial support in this charity campaign goes directly to fund Rainbow Centre in:
1) Their research and innovation projects
2) Covering operational costs of partially funded programmes
3) Support for low-resource families

For every $1 you donate to this campaign, Tote Board will match it dollar-for-dollar. City Sprouts will also issue a 10% discount on our in-house workshops with any donation of $100 or above. Qualified donors will be contacted via email on how to redeem their 10% discount online.

While money may not be everything, it is undeniably necessary for supporting the noble efforts of non-profit organizations. By contributing to charity causes, we can sprout hope & possibilities for those who need it most and make a meaningful difference in the world. Thank you.

About Campaign

Rainbow Centre recently celebrated its 35th anniversary of building empowered, included and thriving lives for persons with disabilities. What's next for us beyond this milestone?

RC35 and Beyond is a fundraising campaign which charts Rainbow Centre's future focus in building inclusive communities and expanding pathways for young adults with disabilities. The campaign gathers members of our community to support our mission through digital fundraising for three key areas of need: supporting low resource families, pilot programmes such as those in the Post-18 space for young adults with disabilities and student care services, as well as innovation efforts to improve service quality.

Donations made from now to 31 March 2023 under the RC35 and Beyond campaign can attract dollar-for-dollar matching from the Tote Board under its Enhanced Fund-Raising Programme. Double your impact and donate today!
