Our Campaign Story

"Employment gives people with disabilities financial freedom and a sense of self-worth when they are a contributing member of the society." - SPD's Employment Support Programme page (URL below)

As a HR professional for the last 15 years, I've been a strong advocate of equal employment opportunity for everyone.

I've seen a lot of effort being put into enabling the workforce to improve and develop their skills, in order to take on new roles and challenges. However, we should also remember that we also have a group of equally competent individuals that SPD is working with in developing and preparing them to be gainfully employed.

I've been a big supporter of SPD's efforts and I wished I could had done more. Thus I'm creating this campaign, to draw awareness to this programme and also to help campaign for donations to aid their cause.

Let's all help to make our world a more inclusive one.

Thanks,
Eric Wong

We develop programmes and services to help people with disabilities become more independent and self-reliant so that they can lead more fulfilling lives.
