Our Campaign Story

ends 30 Sep 2020, 11:59 PM

We are SPArT(SPARK), a team of four ITE College West students. We hope to promote and help VSA(Very Special Arts)Singapore Limited and share with everyone the opportunities VSA Singapore Ltd is providing for those with disabilities to be involved in the arts. Our fundraising project hopes to raise funds for VSA's future projects.

As Singapore strives to become a more inclusive society, a greater need exists for integration of people with disabilities into every spectrum of society including the arts. Arts in an inclusive society provides for greater accessibility to people with disabilities.
A renowned performance artist, Marina Abramovic once said, Art must be life- it must belong to everybody.
We hope to see this happening more so among people with disabilities. Our team salutes these people whom to us are special people with talents that VSA Singapore Ltd (VSA) helps to discover, develop and showcase.

VSA serves more than 350 beneficiaries and positively impacts more than 3000 people annually. During this COVID-19 situation, VSA's task becomes more challenging. Donate to VSA's cause and work. Whatever little you donate goes a long way to support these people with disabilities in their arts.

Every dollar donated is used to help enhance and provide a living for special needs through arts and the help of VSA

About The Charity

Since 1993, VSA Singapore has been empowering persons with physical and intellectual disabilities through the arts. We promote visual, performing, and literary arts through various programmes and events for persons with disabilities. VSA Singapore has also established pathways for them to progress and excel in their fields and pursue a career in the arts.

For some of our beneficiaries, participating in our programmes are their only form of "formal" education. For others, art could be the only "hope" for livelihood.

The future of a person with disabilities is in your hands!

Would you be willing to make a special year-end donation of $50, $100 or whatever you can afford to help us meet our goal and provide lifelong learning for persons with disabilities?

Your generous donation would go a long way in helping us fund our art programmes, as well as to develop more established pathways to enable, empower and engage persons with disabilities. It will also qualify for 250% tax deduction.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
