Our Campaign Story

ends 01 Sep 2023, 11:59 PM

We are SOUL - Strength Of Unity & Love, a student-initiated project that consists of Secondary school students from different secondary schools in SG.

Together with you, we strive to better the lives of the intellectually disabled at MINDS through volunteer work. We are working with MINDS to spread awareness about people who are intellectually disabled and help them befriend more volunteers at a greater quantity, therefore expanding their social circle.

In this event, SOUL is also looking to sell items on our Instagram page @s0ul.ove to raise funds to fund our volunteer sessions with our clients at MINDS as well as other initiatives within SOUL.

All donations received from giving.sg will go to Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS).
All levels of support will go a long way and will be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!

About The Charity

Since Movement for the Intellectually Disabled of Singapore (MINDS) was founded in May 1962, MINDS has grown to become one of the oldest and largest non-governmental organisations catering to the needs of persons with intellectual disability (PWIDs) in Singapore.

We run 4 Special Education Schools; 3 Employment Development Centres (EDCs); 8 Training and Development Centres (TDCs); 2 Homes (one for adults, one for children); 1 Hostel (for adults), and a Caregivers Support Centre and home-based care services to cater to the educational, vocational, social and welfare needs of people with intellectual disability. To ensure employment opportunities for our clients, we have our own Allied Health Professionals and Social Enterprise Department.

MINDS aims to provide a seamless range of quality services that meet the current and future needs of persons with intellectual disability, and their caregivers.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
