Turning 36 in a week's time!

This year, instead of gifts and cakes - for my 36th birthday, I hope you'll join me in this meaningful act of giving back.

10 years ago, I raised funds for World Child Cancer, in tribute to my Brother, Cedear.

This year, I would like to raise funds for Care Corner Singapore Ltd.

Through the ups and downs of my 36 years, I am very blessed to be who I am today. However, I wouldn't be this person, had I not gone through the journey of psychotherapy, meditation and my studies in Positive Psychology. I have benefited so much from it, so I sincerely believe many will too.

Psychological Therapy isn't just for people who suffer from clinical mental disorders. It also shouldn't be made available only for the rich. After much research, I decided to fundraise for Care Corner, because as their name suggests, they are about 'providing Care to every Corner'. Their services are offered to all, regardless of race, language or religion.

Your contribution could be saving someone's life. Psychotherapy and counselling help one to understand their feelings, and what makes them feel positive, anxious, or depressed. This can equip them to cope with difficult situations in a more adaptive way. By contributing, we are enabling them with the ability to see life from a different perspective.

No amount is too small! I thank you for your generosity!
You've made my wish come true!

Love, Sheila Sim

About The Charity

Established since 1981, Care Corner Singapore is a non-profit organisation that has multiple service points island-wide. For more than 40 years, the organisation has been serving the isolated and disadvantaged in Singapore through our extensive services, such as helping families in need, youths at-risk, special needs children, children from low-income families, seniors and counselling needs.

It is our vision to provide Care to every corner in Singapore, to reach out to the vulnerable and needy in spite of all the constraints and uncertainties. Your generous donation will support families that are struggling to meet their daily needs, children with learning challenges, individuals with mental health challenges, and youths-at-risk especially during this difficult time. Everyone can do their part to extend a helping hand by donating generously to help the community we serve.

Fundraising can help to raise more and change more lives.
