Our Campaign Story

ends 09 Aug 2020, 11:59 PM

Hi Everyone,
The Singapore Boardgame Group (SBG) wishes to show our support during this difficult period and have launched a donation campaign - "SBG Cares".

All donations will go directly towards enabling SSAs to continue to provide critical social services. With everyone support, they can maintain operations, adopt technology and other business continuity initiatives to continue serving their users, and emerge stronger through this period. (To note: 100% of donation goes directly to community chest via giving.sg platform, SBG do not hold onto any donations.)

Separately, we will be giving away a board game to our members, for every $500 that we have raised, as an appreciation of everyone support. We hope to give at least 20 board game away. (Hints: bigger board games as the donation amount goes up too.)

For announcement of the winner and to join in the fun with us, do visit our facebook page below.

About Campaign

Caring for the vulnerable should never cease, especially in uncertain times. Singapore has united to care for the vulnerable individuals and families affected by COVID-19. Just as generous donations to The Courage Fund has allowed us to provide relief to frontline workers and families affected by COVID-19, our social service agencies (SSAs) also need support to enable them to continue to provide critical social services to vulnerable individuals, families and communities, in the face of this challenge.

To do this, the National Council of Social Service (NCSS) has set up The Invictus Fund, which will channel public donations to SSAs that deliver critical services to vulnerable groups in our community.

Where will your donations go?
Donations will go towards enabling our SSAs to continue to provide critical social services. With your support, they can maintain operations, adopt technology and other business continuity initiatives to continue serving their users, and emerge stronger through this period.

In addition to financial support, NCSS is also working closely the SSAs to help them with business continuity and integration of technology into their operations and service delivery, to ensure access to critical social services continue to be available, especially to those who need it.

More details on The Invictus Fund will be made available soon. For further queries, please contact us at [email protected]
