Our Campaign Story

ends 24 May 2021, 11:59 PM

Ramadan is an auspicious month for Muslims. It is a different experience depending on the individual, but it is a month spent practicing patience, building oneself spiritually and being selfless in giving help to the less-privileged.

The pandemic has taken a hard hit on donations towards social services. Although efforts have been given to help such services, Caring Skin has decided to take the first step towards putting a spotlight on these services and encourage our community to give back, especially during this special month.

With our customer base made significantly of Malay-Muslims, we're thankful that we are able to get this insightful look into the meaning of Ramadan. That's why we decided we're taking our celebrations a step further this year. To show our appreciation for the love our customers have given us and to help out this valuable community, Caring Skin is running a donation campaign to support PERTAPIS, a non-profit body that focuses on providing quality social and education services to less-fortunate in the Malay-Muslim community.

Caring Skin's core values encompass the value of serving others and compassion, be it in our work or daily lives. We hope that with our efforts and by rallying our community, we can achieve our ambitious goal to better the lives of such individuals, no matter how big or little.

About The Charity

PERTAPIS was registered under the Societies Act in 1970. It is an approved organisation under the Charities Act, Cap 37 and has also been conferred the status of an Institution of Public Character (IPC), IPC No: IPC000455 and can issue a tax-exempt receipt for donations.

The principal activity of PERTAPIS is the running of welfare projects which are designed to address some of the social problems faced by the community. These projects include the running of welfare homes, providing social support for needy families and educational services.
