Our Campaign Story

Hi! I'm Georgie. I'm American, and I have been living here in Singapore since 2019.
I'm here to talk to you about animals.
Animals are such amazing companions! They help us out in so many different ways! I'll name 2: They have saved lives and they can get rid of our stress! I had a dog once, and he got rescued as a puppy in the middle of a street. Of course, I'm just lucky that the closest he has ever gotten to being treated wrongly is almost having to be euthanized. But. Think about all the other dogs, cats, birds, bunnies, snakes, and so on. There have been dogs who have been abandoned in the sun, to be burnt so badly, and way too many other horrifying treatments to animals. There are ways to help out, though! Help donate to SPCA (Or RSPCA, whatever you please) to give more animals the chance that our animals do!

About The Charity

COVID-19 Update: Fundraising has become exceptionally difficult, with major events being cancelled and essential services still running 24/7. We are appealing for help for our needy animals to receive critical emergency care.

The SPCA is a registered non-profit animal welfare charity with IPC status, and our two main objectives are to promote kindness and prevent cruelty to animals.

The SPCA is not funded by the government. Relying mainly on kind donations from the public and fundraising to support the shelter and clinic, inspectorate work and animal rescue services, as well as other initiatives such as our foster care programme, sterilisation programme for community animals, and education and outreach efforts.

Over 100 animals are taken in by the Society every month. Most of these animals are abandoned, unwanted, abused, sick/injured or lost. Our officers have rescued numerous animals, like Gemma, Aiden and Cookie, across Singapore (see above video).

To carry out our animal welfare work, we require over S$3,000,000 annually.

You can make a difference to the animals.

Your kind donation will directly impact upon our operations in providing shelter, food, medical attention and love to the rescued animals that walk through our doors each day.

Your donations are eligible for 250% tax deduction.
