Support Us in Our Mission of Care!
St. Andrew's Community Hospital (SACH) provides additional financial assistance on top of government subsidies to our patients facing challenges financially.
Your gift sustains our provision of care for the communities we served. Every donation matters as your generosity will help make our inpatient and community-based services affordable and accessible.
Daughter of Mr. Tan, our late palliative care patient shared, “The blessed journey of our late Papa, Mr. Tan, began when he was diagnosed with advanced stage cancer. Admitted to SACH, Papa lived his days to the fullest under the auspices of a gentle, caring environment. SACH Violet Ward became Papa's second home. At SACH, he celebrated a fulfilled last lap of life with our family and the Palliative Care Team. He was overjoyed when he received a haircut for the Lunar New Year from Getai celebrity, Ms. Liu Ling Ling, who volunteers with SACH. He also enjoyed a beautiful family reunion dinner and surprise birthday celebrations at SACH which were planned by our family and the Care Team. I am grateful for the quality time with Papa. Without an empathetic Care Team which thoughtfully cared for Papa with the highest degree of dignity and respect, this would not have been possible.”

About The Charity
Out of passion to care for the physical, emotional and social well-being of the community, the St. Andrew's Medical Mission was founded in 1913 by Dr. Charlotte Ferguson-Davie, the wife of the first Anglican Bishop of Singapore who was also a medical doctor herself. Seeing the plight of the local women and children of that time and the lack of medical services for them, Dr. Ferguson-Davie set up a dispensary along Bencoolen Street for the destitute women and children. The Medical Mission continued to meet the locals' needs and thus led to the opening of more dispensaries and eventually, St. Andrew's Mission Hospital in 1923 and St. Andrew's Orthopaedic Hospital in 1939.
Working closely with the Government, SAMH constantly developed its services to meet the relevant needs of our local community at all times. Today, SAMH has under its operation: St. Andrew's Autism Centre, St. Andrew's Community Hospital, St. Andrew's Nursing Home and St. Andrew's Senior Care.
