Our Campaign Story

"I used to roam the streets with my furiends - We had to seek shelter when it rained, drink water from puddles & eat what little we could find. Then we found this place called the factory; it was a nice place, there was shelter when it stormed, & I didn't have to worry about going hungry cos of some kind humans who worked there.

"One day, the management called in pest control. My friends were suspicious of the pest control guys, but I thought I'd make friends with them. They caught me; the management told them we were causing accidents & wanted us out. They took me somewhere far away; I tried to find my way home, but the roads were confusing & I got a little lost. I walked for days. I must have been hungry & didn't pay attention when I crossed a road, because a car hit me. My leg broke & it really hurt. How I was going to get home then?

"Lucky for me, some kind humans brought me to the animal doctor to fix my leg. We needed a very good doctor; my leg was in very bad shape. I needed things I didn't need before; something called a surgery, post-op care & weekly splint-changing...

"Apparently, even after the kind animal doctor gave the humans big discounts, the bills will still come up to $5500.

"I like those humans who call me Rooby. They saved my life. I can only return their favour with a few licks. Sometimes they seem to like to rub my head, so I would offer that too. But I hear that they still need help with raising that amount of money. Would you help them, help me?
