Our Campaign Story

Dear Friend,
At the Singapore Red Cross, our mission is protecting human life and dignity by reliving human suffering. We are involved in providing humanitarian services that are not readily available to the vulnerable, and are not publicly funded. Today, over 20,000 Singaporeans are cared for by the Singapore Red Cross each year. Through our community services, we uplift disadvantaged individuals and families, and those who fall through the cracks of social service.
We champion for persons with severe disability; the elderly who live on their own; and the single-parents and skipped generation families who need a listening ear and a helping hand. There are 150 families on our Family Life Aid programme which provides them with meals with love, reading programmes for students in kindergarten & lower primary and tuition for upper primary students. All this in addition to our core national duties of training and providing first aid, blood donor recruitment and international disaster relief which we are well known for.
What is not obvious to the public is that besides the available subsidies, we need to raise $4 million to support the various humanitarian services we provide to the community, only in Singapore.
As a Singapore Red Cross Champion, you'll belong to a special group of Singapore Red Cross' most passionate and forward-thinking supporters.
Your gift can help provide the sustained resources needed to accelerate the pace and scale of Singapore Red Cross' work.
