Your pledged amount will be used to purchase bundle sets consisting of toiletries, instant food & beverages as well as cooking essentials, which will then be distributed to the beneficiaries!
Each $10 donation = 1 essential bundle set for a family!
Project R.I.C.E.+ (RICE) is an annual, nation-wide collection & distribution drive championed by youth leaders from the Singapore Red Cross, to bring food and daily essentials to vulnerable families.
Our focus is on:
1) Single Parent Families
2) Skipped Generation Families
3) Low-Income Families
4) Elderly
5) Migrant Workers & Domestic Helpers
6) Persons with Disabilities
Our volunteers will deliver your pledged bundle sets to our beneficiaries on 24 June and 1 July 2023!
Donating is really simple and secure. The money will directly go to Singapore Red Cross Society.
In 2022, the team saw an 88.6% increase from the previous year and fundraised $431,882 to purchase 43,188 bundle sets. This benefited approximately 33,000 individuals from 77 organisations ranging from Family Service Centres, Community Centres and Residential Committees, Red Cross Home for the Disabled, Red Cross Day Activity Centre for the Disabled and ItsRainingRaincoats.
