Our Campaign Story

ends 04 May 2021, 11:59 PM

COVID-19 has hit us hard, taking away the time with our friends and family and leaving us isolated, but it will undoubtedly affect some of us worse than others. For the mental health community, these social distancing measures may reopen old wounds for clients that are used to care and support. The uncertainty in society and economy may also weigh heavily on someone who lost their job or has hospitalised loved ones, which can negatively affect their mental wellbeing.

All of us need care and support in our lives, especially in times like these. By making a vital donation to SAMH, you can help provide a better support network to those in need of assistance, supporting the mental health of our society.

Project Helios is a service-learning project from Hwa Chong Institution, and we've been working with the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) for the past 3 years. We aim to promote interaction with the mental health community, spread awareness of this issue, and support SAMH.

About The Charity

Your donation matters.

Your invaluable donation can empower and help our beneficiaries in their journey to recovery and mental wellness. With your kind support, we can continue to provide rehabilitative, outreach, and creative services and programmes to persons with mental health issues, and help them recover and reintegrate back into the community.

Your generous gift also counts in funding our efforts to raise public awareness about mental well-being and resilience, as well as reduce the social stigma, and promote acceptance and respect for persons with mental health issues.

Established in 1968, the Singapore Association for Mental Health (SAMH) is a non-profit and non-government social service organization, a registered charity under the Charities Act and an approved Institution of Public Character (IPC). We have also been awarded the coveted Charity Transparency Award in 2018 & 2019 by the Charity Council.
