Our Campaign Story

ends 10 Sep 2021, 11:59 PM

We are Project Crescent, 3 Secondary Three students from Raffles Girls' School. We hope to raise $500 for SGH Needy Patients Fund to help patients in need.

Your donation will go towards helping needy patients so that they can receive critical medical care in a timely manner. SGH Needy Patients Fund helps patients who have undergone means-testing with basic and life-saving needs such as dialysis, equipment, consumables and treatments not covered by prevailing subsidy schemes.

We appeal to you, all our stakeholders, alumni, families, and friends to support this meaningful cause.

Make a difference in the patients' lives today! We thank you for your generous support!

About Campaign

For the past 200 years since 1821, SGH has pioneered countless innovations in healthcare and healthcare management, enabling us to save lives and achieve world-class health outcomes today.

Being the largest and the nation's first hospital, SGH serves over 1 million patients annually and many are subsidised patients. These patients often face challenges, especially during times like COVID-19, to cover the cost of critical clinical care and indirect costs after exhausting all possible public assistance schemes such as MediFund.

100% of your donation will go towards helping patients with basic and life-saving needs such as interim dialysis, consumables, and treatments when they have no other recourse and assistance. Their medical conditions cannot wait. Your help is pivotal in ensuring that needy patients can receive the necessary medical care in a timely manner. To-date, the Fund has helped more than 18,000 patients.

As SGH celebrates its bicentennial, we thank all our donors for your support over the years and seek your continued warm support towards helping patients in need. Every dollar of your gift matters.

Donors with valid mailing address will receive a SGH Bicentennial token within 8 weeks after the donation has been made.

Eligible donations will enjoy 250% tax deduction. The donation will be automatically included in the donor's IRAS tax assessment and receipt will be issued upon request. If you would like one, please email us at [email protected]
